Sync hangs on a single laptop

Hi,

 

 

Our version of ACT! is

 

ACT! by Sage Premium 2009 (11.0) Version 11.1.183.0, Hotfix 1

 

and is running on Windows XP pro. My boss' laptop hangs. I found a similar problem in another thread but it seemed like it was the version of ACT! which caused the problem. The sync hangs after updating 2 records in the "synchronizing records and updates" row.
