Sync failure - Invalid high surrogate character (0xDEB7)

I have a remote user who cannot synchronize to the main database.  The error he received is:

Synchronization has failed. Agent Facade failed to get message to remote. Agent Facade failed to get Content operations. Invalid high surrogate character (0xDEB7). A high surrogate character must have a value from range (0xD800 - 0xDBFF).

Has anyone run across this problem or have any ideas on how to solve?

Re: Sync failure - Invalid high surrogate character (0xDEB7)

Hello fburnell,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. I hope this issue has been resolved, but if not, then I would suggest it is caused by an invalid character or characters in either the remote database filepath or in a file in the remote. I would suggest running database maintenance on the remote. If that fails, then you may need to create a new remote database.

Database maintenance had no effect.

Since I will have to create a new remote database, are there any suggestions from the community on extracting updated data from the old remote database?
