Sync a Picture in ACT field to Gmail account ???

Hello,

 Is there a way to sync a picture in a picture field in ACT to my Gmail account (Contacts)?

 I would LOVE it if my contacts in ACT would show up on my iPhone. I am using CompanionLink to sync data. Thx.

You might want to check out the new Sage ACT! Connect service. It gives you access to your contact and calendar on your iPhone, and can sync with your Google contacts. See these links:

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm also moving from CompanionLink to Google sync for my iPhone and wondering how to sync pictures along with the other Act contact info. I saw the field mapping information on the Act Knowledgebase (http://kb.sagesoftwareonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/28129/kw/google%20field%20mapping) , but didn't see a field name for picture in the UserContactMapping.map file. 

Act Connect is not a good alternative, since we already have Act Mobile set up from our Act web server which is essentially the same interface.

Hello Patrick,
I could not find a reference to the field name used by Google for contact pictures - it may not even be a contact field. You would have to ask Google about this. If there is a field then you can modify the field map per the instructions in the KB article you referenced to add the field association to the sync.
