Customer, recent install of ACT! 2011 Premium, Service Pack 1 onto WIndows 2008 Terminal Server 64-bit.
Users just started getting "Specified argument was out of the range of valid values" errors randomly in ACT!
Users still continue to get GDI errors and Big Red X's in Terminal Sessions, but I've reported that before.

I have seen similar and the GDI has like you have often complains from clients.
On the other issue I tended to find this was when the data server was on a seperate box and seemd to be a delay in response rather than a specific error within ACT!. Closing ACT and reopeing seems to resolve so on a couple of these I resorted to clearing the ACT memory more regularly in actdiag
