Someone Please Help Urgent

I created a main dabase on my deskptop.

I can acess it with my laptop and make changes.

My problem is that I want to be able to save the database on my laptop and be able to sync it with my main database when I return home.

Do I make a second database on my laptop and what ever I input can update to the main one on my desktop?

Hello Yuhz,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. You can setup remote database synchronization. You would create a remote database from the main database, then restore that remote onto your laptop. You can then take the remote on the road, then sync it to the main database when you return. Please see the following Knowledgebase articles for instructions:

It worked thanks, is it possible to  set it up so each user is only able to see certain contacts/notes that they only enter in.

Re: Someone Please Help Urgent

You can use sync sets to determine which contacts each user can sync. Sync sets are detailed in the KB articles I sent you. If you are using the Premium version, you can also use Limited Access to define which contacts each user has access to. This feature is not available in the Pro/Standard version. Details are in this Knowledgebase article:
