Why is it that ACT sync with Lotus Notes and Outlook for sending and receiving email, yet it will not allow Lotus Notes to be the email system for even senging automated emails through the Smart Tasks menu?
Is there a plan to have Smart Tasks support Notes?
To use a Smart Task that has an E-mail step, you must have e-mail set up. Currently, only Outlook* e-mail is supported with Smart Tasks. Also, if a Smart Task has an E-marketing e-mail step or Add to Drip Marketing step, you must have a Sage E-marketing for ACT! account. I doubt you are ever going to see this and I would suggest you have a look at SAM from www.crmaddons.com as it can both do more than smarttasks and integrate for both printing or their own email application
