We have users opening many other apps besides ACT, they all have 4 GIG of ram. When Act loads you could go order lunch and it still might not be up. And forget about trying to use the other programs.
any help I really appreciate it

1. What version of ACT! (the full build from Help | About)?
2. What HDD speed (server and workstation)?
3. Does the same thing happen if opening ACT! on the server?
4. What OS?
