Short cut to document folder

I store all my client documents in mydocuments\clients\

I was thinking that I was going to be able to create a shortcut in the documents tab of ACT that would open up the folder for that particular client. But, it appears that I can only creat a shortcut to an actual file. Bummer!  Is there any way to create a shortcut from within ACT to a folder?  Even if it was an icon on the tool bar to go to the folder for all clients. That would be better than me having to click on my little icon on the Windows toolbar which is what i do now. But, the ideal would be to have a shortcut right to the folder of the client that is open.  Would a macro work?

Re: Short cut to document folder

Take a look at this KB and see if this is what you are trying to set up:

How to Add a Folder to Your Documents Tab in ACT!

Greig Hollister

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
