After problems sharing between Win7 and XP, I was looking forward to easy sharing between Win7 computers. That isn't happening though.
My ACT folder on the host computer, and the individual files within say that they are shared. I even tried adding permissions for "Everyone".
Still, I get that the database can't be accessed. I have the database set to be shared within ACT. Windows Firewall has an exception made for ACT. I have the settings allowing sharing set within the control panel.
Any ideas what I can do?

In your firewall settings on the host computer, have you also added program and port exceptions for the SQL Server? If not, please see the list of exceptions in KB Article 25125. You can also take a look at KB Article 19640 for additional causes and solutions for the access error.
