Select contacts where notes were made on 14/10/2020
Wanting to select a filter which allows me to browse contacts where a note was made on a certain date only.
Is it possible? how does one do it?
Act! (Web) Version: 188.8.131.52, Update 4

Its simple but ACT make it confusing. Will explain as follows.
In ACT go to LOOKUP - ADVANCED - SEARCH ON KEYWORDS
Now in the date format put in the date as follows 2020-10-16 (Or what ever date your are searching for.)
(Yes I know you are in the UK but ACT still searches this bit in USA format and separated with a - Told you it was confusing!)
Under TYPE select CONTACTS
Under LOOK IN just have NOTES ticked
Now click on FIND NOW When search has finished click on CREATE LOOKUP

Thanks for that, I have been able to make it work, much appreciated!
Can't find much on the "create lookup" though ..

I'm having this same issue. Did you get this resolved? If so, how?
I also have a contact group for study help 123Homework, and I want to select a filter that allows me to browse contacts where a note was made on a certain date only. Have no solution now

This issue is one of the many downfalls of customers continuing to use Notes instead of History after Act split them off in Version 7 in 2005. What most ACCs recommend is to create a new Activity Type called Notes which automatically creates a corresponding History Type. Then use an add-on that will copy the Notes.in to the History table. Once you have confirmed they are there you can delete the Notes (or not) and start using the Notes table for what it is intended to be, which is for Important Information that is not the result of an Activity type. I suggest that only a few of these will ever be needed and they will be easy to spot at the top of the Notes Tab. You will now be able to find the "old" Notes by filtering the History table.
