We are considering switching our DB to be the web version, primarily in order to have the system move at a faster speed. Our concern is the security of the system; we will actually not be allowing users to access the DB from outside the office.
So my question is...is it true that you can set the database so that it can only be accessed from specific IP addresses? We want them to be able to access it only from internal office computers.
