Revisiting this outstanding issue... Running Act! Premium Version 21.1.187.0, Update 4 and search "Today" in the custom (not default) fields set to Date (not Date/Time and Windows default date format set to MM/DD/YYYY US format.) issue continues. Can anyone running Act! v22.1 confirm this defect?

Now running Act! - Windows® client Version 22.1.212.0, Update 4 English (United States) and Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.13426.20330) 64-bit ... and this defect (D-05665 logged on 03-21-2017) has yet to be corrected.

 

It's worth noting this defect was first reported on ‎March 10, 2017 in Act! Premium Version 19.1.63.0.

 

As previously noted, it appears the date is in fact being misinterpreted. When entering tomorrow's date, "Today" field search/lookup shows the records with tomorrow's date.

We have to differentiate between the over the wire format and the browser's presentation format.
