Hi Gontran,

Do you mean, when you are looking in the SQL table itself that the time is recorded for the system fields but not for custom fields?
I'm not sure what the expected behaviour is here, but I've requested some further testing on this subject to identify what might be going on here.

By the way, I'm about to go live with a new CRM for a client and it's a real issue for me. Can you tell me if I can expect something rapidly?

I'm actually working with dasboard (custom) and I'm using SQL for that, and more I'm doing test more I think the problem is somewhere in the fact that the custom field does not have the time part in the database, but a can be wrong because I don't have access behind the scenes.

Hi all,

 

Thank you for the detail provided in this thread. With this info to hand, I requested some further testing in this area. We were able to replicate the issue, and observed the following:

  • The issue only affects some time zones
  • The issue only affects custom fields
  • The issue only affects pure date fields (not date/time)
  • System fields are unaffected due to them being a special kind of date/time field that only displays the date in the UI

Now that we have identified this issue, it has been logged as defect D-05665.

 

As a workaround, I'd suggest using date/time fields instead of date fields until the issue is resolved. I don't currently have a timeframe for a fix.

Thanks for the info. How can I track this defect D-05665?

 

I really hoped it had been repaired before going live with my client.

 

I don't like to say "It's a normal problem" to a client!!

 

**Please ensure in the fix that when we will convert back the Date/time field to a date only field, it will convert the right way!

I'll post any updates to this issue that I become aware of in this thread.

As an ACC, you can also request an update with your Partner Manager at Swiftpage, or find relevant info in the ACC community.

Gary: Any updates on this issue/defect? The latest update (Act! Premium Version 19.1.63.0, Update 2) did not correct this issue.

It works, now there's a time part.

Now you need the same fix for the version 18.1 (18.2 not availeble for me (french canadian version)

Is it possible?

Ooops, I just realise it suppose to show 2017-04-03 19:00:00 because i'm in -5 time and we are the april 4th.

That mean you did not fix the problem.
