Scheduling appointments for other users.... uneditable sometimes by said users.

We are using ACT! by Sage Premium 2009 (11.0) Version 11.1.183.0

Here's the situation. We have 6 users in our office who all have administrator rights to ACT! and each individuals calendars... sometimes when a user (A) schedules an appointment with user A and B, User B can not edit the appointment (reschedule etc...) once its been accepted. Other times they can. I, user C, can schedule and appointment with User A (in the schedule with field....) and User B ( in the scheduled for field) and all 3 of us can edit any or all of the appointment details etc... but only if they don't get the little invitation window (that gives them an option to accept and or decline,) if that window pops up for either user A or B then they can not edit the appointment.

Questions... first what triggers the invitation window... why does it sometimes appear and not others... does it only pop up if the user is chosen in the Schedule with field???

What makes the appointment uneditable whent that window appears??

Thanks!!

Rachel

The invitation is triggered when a user schedules an activity with another user.  Only the user that created the activity can edit the details.
