Sage Act! 2012 Premium Email Client on Windows 7

Found yet another problem in the Sage Act E-mail client.

Sometimes when writing an e-mail if you maximize the window on a Windows 7 PC, the body part textbox seems to disappear. Basically, the body part becomes grey, like the background color of the form itself. You can no longer see nor edit the text anymore.

Bringing it back to non-maximized state makes the textbox visible again.

So far we've only had this happen on Windows 7 computers.

Can we get a serious reply on this? We've had quite a few problems and bugs in Sage Act, both in the e-mail client, hardly any of them were ever fixed.

Re: Sage Act! 2012 Premium Email Client on Windows 7

Hello Europower,
I was able to reproduce this issue on Windows 7 machine. As you said, it only happens sometimes with the new message screen in the ACT! Email client (i was only to get it to happen twice out of more than 20 tries). I found that if I manually expanded the window a little, then maximized it, the issue did not occur. If you are using Outlook with ACT! Email, I would recommend using Outlook as you email client instead of the ACT! Email client.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
