Sage ACT Premium for Web 2012 - Linking Fields

I am looking for a way to link fields in the opportunity page with those in the contact page. For example. we would like to have the contact address show in both the opportunity page as well as the contact page.

 

Can anyone advise on an add-in that would help?

Because ACT for Web has no SDK, there are few if any addon products relating to ACT for WEb.  IT's not possible to do this out of the box.

 

Options would be to create a report, or use Citrix or Terminal services to allow access to the full ACT Desktop product for the users instead of the more limited ACT for Web.

 

Even with the desktop product, what you are asking would be done best with a custom reporting or dashboard product.

We are on Act Premium 13--is there a way to link a contact field with an opportunity field yet? We have added a URL field to our contacts to link to their folder on our network, and would love to have that field link to an opportunity when that particular contact is linked.

When you say a dashboard product can accomplish this (for the 2012 version at least) is that the dashboard that comes with Act, or an add-on?
