Safe to upgrade from 2009 to 2010?

We have 4 users (spread out across town) of ACT 2009 Premium and we synch successfully via Hamachi VPN to my computer as the "host".  All of us are running Windows XP.  Are there any known issues that would dissuade us from upgrading?  (I have 2010 downloaded, paid for, and waiting on my hard drive.)

Also - do we all have to be running 2010 or can I go ahead and install it on my machine (the host) before installing the other users?

It is perfectly "safe" to upgrade to 2010. In regards to the install, once you upgrade the host machine and main database, you will need to have all users upgrade before they access the database or sync. Also, make sure you upgrade the installed sync services (Network Sync and/or Internet Sync) on the host machine as well. Performing the upgrade on the remote machines will not break sync.
