When this happens... How can I manually install the ACT7 instance?
Thank You and Merry Christmas to all...

Thank you, the problem is that after this error message... I can not install the instance manually.... and... I can not uninstall SQL to start again the SQL ACT7 installation.
This has happened with the Act Versions! with SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2014 Express also.
For some reason... the SQL installation file is damaged when copying from one computer to another... the Act! installation file downloaded from Act! page.
is this happened to anyone else?
Thank You Gary and Best regards to the best Act! Team.

Juan, there is a known issue installing SQL across a network connection - ie not directly from an image on the machine. Doesn't happen all the time - but it is talked about on several SQL forums. Did you try running the installer across a network connection? If you did you could get the error you are seeing. what we do at customer sites is expand the installer and download that to a folder on the workstation - or just put the installer on the workstation and let it expand to the local drive. When we do that we get a lot less SQL headaches.

Thank you, I really did copy of the Act! installation file from one computer to another... (even right click - run as administrator) (No antivirus - no firewall - without UAC before installing) .
from now I will always download (each computer) the installation file from the Act! website.
To Fix the problem I will use the Windows Recovery function on my computer - I know this takes time but I will be more effective
Thank you anyway...
