SQL Keeps turning off at random. It's starts manually OK.

We have a numerous remote users with Window 7 who use remote databases.  A few of them have a problem where the SQL instance service just stops. You can restart it with no problem. Any ideas?

Set hte service to delayed start. This occurs because certain windows services have not loaded in the boot up sequence of Windows 7 that are required for SQL to satrt. If you set to delayed start, all the other services are loaded before it starts SQL ACT7

This can also occur if you have a Windows update for Microsoft SQL attempting to apply. It will stop the service, fail to apply, and leave the service stopped. You can 'Hide' the update to prevent it from attempting to update.
