getting the applicatin log filled with login failed for the ACT db.
I have tried the actdiag which says the password isn't right with either blank or what the password should be
I tried the SecuirtyCMDLnAPP and the fallbacksqlpwdreset.bat file to reset it but the errors are still coming up

You will get that error message if the XXX-databasefiles folder can't be found in the directory that it is looking for it in. For example if you have moved your database to a new drive.

Browse to the database PAD file and remame to OLD
In ACT Using File Open Database select option The Databse Is not Listed.
Now browse to the database but change the option from PAD file to ADF file.
Click on your database, it will create a new PAD and try to open the database

1) Close Act!
2) Create a new password for the SA user.
3) Run securitycmdlnapp.exe "<your new password" (include the quotes)
