Any reports ran from a web browser with our ACT for web isntalltion never finish loading and just spin the progress screen for hours. How can I fix this?

What report are you trying to run? what are your filter settings?

History reports and General Notes. It seems like regardless of which report is being run or how filtered the data is selected, the report never completely loads.

Running those reports from ACT! for web will be a problem unless the database is relatively small. The web version doesn't allow creating a lookup for contact activity to improve the performance of those reports. The notes and/or history are collected in a sub-report. This means the notes and/or history table must be scanned once for each contact for records to be included in the final report. This is true even when you set a date range for the notes and/or history. With a large database this can be very timeconsuming. The local installed version of the ACT! program has a lookup for contact activity so the report can be run for the current lookup which can significantly speed of those reports.
