Some time ago I customised our contact screen to add a couple of fields I wanted to help with things like the GDPR issue.
I used those fields to work on that issue but now I see the contacts view has been returned to a pre mods state and my fields are no longer visible.
I haven't yet checked to see if the fields are still present in the data, but they are not displayed.
Anyone else experience this from an update?

Your are probably not seeing the layout that you changed some time ago.
Go through the list of available layouts for the contact detail view and open them them one after another.

Thank you Andreas, my alternative layout was indeed still there.
I had no idea of the other layouts so your post was very helpful for me.
