Running ACT Premium 2005 through Virtual XP window on a 64bit Wiindows 7 system. When trying to create any report, whether as a preview, PDF or other file type option, nothing is returned. This occurs no matter what report or report options are chosen. Have tried reinstallation of ACT along with updates to no avail. Is there something being blocked by the Windows 7 OS or some other glitch within the Virtual XP environment which is preventing the reports from being generated?

The reports in ACT! 2005 had serious problems that weren't fully resolved until ACT! 2006. My suggestion would be to upgrade to ACT! 2013 which will run on Windows 7 64-bit native.

No doubt that's correct for several reasons. ACT! 2005 had a lot of problems that were corrected in later version (ACT! 2013 is six versions after ACT! 2005). One thing that wasn't mentioned before, do you have a printer driver installed for the virtual XP machine.
