I'm running version 184.108.40.206, Hot Fix 6 on a Windows XP machine.
I've been changing history items from things like "Email completed" and "Call completed" to "Conversation completed" in order to more effectively track which steps of our sales process our sales guys are making with contacts. I'm trying to find a way to automatically report numbers of "conversations" had per month/week/day. In orther words, I'd like to be able to say "this sales person made 4 conversations this week, whereas that person made 10 the previous week."
I've tried creating a new Report, change the settings to fit what I'm trying to do (here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/hK9LkvC.jpg). When I run it to a PDF, is gives me a popup window called "Print Progress" where it then says "saving report" for a few minutes. What I get next is a blank PDF with a header/footer (that looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/J0wBYv4.jpg).

Several things: The screen shot you show is for an activity report which would be valid for scheduled future activities but not for historical information. The type of report you want would typically be the History Summary Classic report. I assume that you've added some custom activities to your database and for tracking purposes those need to be properly added. When adding custom activities it give default results of Completed and Note Completed. Unless you edit the results entires in the custom activities to make thim unique, you won't be able to track them.
