Report on changed Compnay and contact fields

Hi, have searched the web to no avail, our requirements is to be able to automatically extract monthly thoses fields (Company & Contacts) that have changed in that month and what the new content of the change field is.

 

This is used to provide our suppliers with with changes to enable them to update their internal systems

ACT! only tracks the specific fields that have changed if using synchronisation.

You could select the fields to generate history, but that would create a lot of history and is not easy to report.

 

You could look up all Contacts/Companies where Edit Date is later than the last time and send an export of all the fields for any record that has changed.

 

Would that do?

 

If you want extended data (notes, histories, opportunities, activities, secondary contacts), then the easiest way would be with an add-on like itExport

This looks like an option, I will investigate further, thank you
