Report: Sorting Fields and Counting

Have two issues;

 

#1 - Sorting by Field (in this case, Contact History > Result (see enclosed file).  

 

#2 - How can I total on a report the results of;  Contact History > Result

 

 

My goal is to print a report at the end of the day that shows what I did (trying to increase my calls, contacts, etc...).  The report simply tells me the contact, and if I left a message, call completed, letter sent, etc... (I'd like to total all those).

 

I also did a snapshot of the report so  you can see it didn't work.

You might try checking the History Summary Classic report/

I had looked at that one...

 

sometimes it prints additional lines between contacts, and

 

any idea on how to add an additional column? (emails)?????

If you have ACT! 19 or 20, make sure you try the REP2 version of the History Summary Classic report. The blank space should be eliminated or minimized. As to modifying the report, because the report uses VB script programming to accumulate the totals, changing the activity types tracked or adding a column requires and in depth knowledge of the report editor and that specific report. Contact me off line for information having a custom version of the report made.
