Reoccurring Resolution of Dependency Failed error

Windows 7 32 bit (UAC Disabled)

Act 2011! premium

Remote Database User

Outlook 2010

We have a user who continues to get the "Resolution of the dependency failed..." error. I have temporarilly fixed the issue by rebuilding her preferences file, but on average about 5 business days later the error returns. Some things to point out...

1. The error first occures at login... Windows login not act. Once that happens Act will not open without rebuilding the preferences file.

2. We have multiple users using the same OS same laptop model, and the same ACT set up (using their own Remote Database). without issue.

Thanks for any help!

I have also experienced the same issue running the same operating system but only since upgrading from ACT 2013 to v16.

Re: Reoccurring Resolution of Dependency Failed error

Are you deleting the preferences by going to ACTDIAG or manually going to the files in the AppData folder?

Here's the knowledgebase article with several solutions.  Have you tried all of these?
