Remove all contacts (that are in one group) from another group

How do I do this?  I started a group and realized I needed my entire database in that group, so now I need a group with the entire database minus those in the first group.  I have to do it this way so as not to send an email to anyone twice.  Any help would be appreciated!

There is an add-on called Advanced Lookup by Groups. You can download a free 21-day trial version. http://www.exponenciel.com/actaddons/actaddon.aspx?ID=115

Under Preset Lookups, you'll see that there is an option to reverse the current lookup which is what you need here.

Re: Remove all contacts (that are in one group) from another group

Thank you Gilles, I've got the trial running, giving this a shot and so I'm doing an "advanced lookup" including my database and excluding the group i've already emailed.  Now to email this new "lookup", I think I need to turn it into a group in act.  How would I go about this?  Thanks for your help!

You don't necessarily need to turn the lookup into a group but if you want to, you first create the group, then under the Contacts tab of the new group, you click the Add/Remove Contacts... button, then you click the Contacts... button in the window that pops up. You're now in the Select Contacts window. Select Current Lookup in the Select from drop-down list. All the contacts of your lookup and only theses contacts now appear in the Contacts to select from list. You press the >> button and they will be all added to the Selected Contacts list. Click OK and you're done.

Got it, thanks again!

There's always something.  I'm running into another issue here now, do you know using advanced group lookup, how i would split a lookup into groups of 1,000? Do you know an easy way to do this?  Maybe it's not through advanced group lookup?  Thank you.
