OK.....first time posting here so I hope I follow proper protocol!
First, the environment:
ACT 2007 (9.0) Premium for Workgroups......about 45 remote users synch'ing to the server.
Most everyone is sync'ing fine, however, I suddenly have a group of about 5 or 6 users (in several different remote offices) for whom synchronization will not start. For the most part, they simply get an hourglass that doesn't go away and sync. never starts.
Again, the majority of users all still sync. fine. Have tried running ACT Diags....delete the PAD and open the ADF.....cleanup temps and cache files, empty the event viewer....all no luck.
I've had many problems in the past.....have called the "pay per incident" support in the past (and the response is ALWAYS "you need to create a new remote database for the user" which, frankly I have grown tired of paying to hear that....but I digress).
Anyway....as mentioned.....a handful of remote users cannot sync as it never starts.
I'm guessing I'll get better input from the user community anyway!
