Remote database lost "sync role"

[ Edited ]
Hello, I ran into a problem with one of our users recently. The user has a remote database that they use while not connected to our local network and once they join the local network again they sync their remote with our Parent database. After they returned from vacation last week however, when they went to sync with the parent the "Synchronize Now" button was completely grayed out. I did a quick look in the actdiag only to discover that the remote database is not classified as a Syncing "Subscriber" anymore. Does anyone know what could cause this and if there is anyway to fix this problem? We are using ACT! Premium 9.0 for Workgroups. Thanks! - Jordan

Re: Remote database lost "sync role"

Once a database is no longer a suscriber, you have no other choice to recut a remote db for your user...

You can also change Expiration Period in the sync panel before cutting the remote to give them longer before it stops.
