I have recently purchased a new computer and I am having difficulty reinstalling Sage ACt on the new computer. I used Windows and I did not get all of my contacts or my calendar of events, past or present.. The update only gave me data up to the time, before I purchased ACT 2012
What should I do to retrieve all of my data up through the present.

I wonder if you are using the correct database. There are really only a couple of things that could be going wrong here. Number one, you could have multiple databases or have restored an old backup. Secondly, consider looking at your filters to make sure that the appropriate dates are displayed

Thank you for your quick response. I used the data base that I obtain off of the external hard drive, before I closed the old computer. Now I have another problem. HP installed some new drivers and ACT will not open. I am going to have to start from the beginning and I will look to make sure that I am using the up to date data base. I am pretty sure that I am because,my data base is the only one out there.
