Registration of Act 2013 Premium Not Sticking After Hot Fix 4

Running Act Premium 2013 and recently applied Hot 4 to solve another issue.  Since then, whenever I restart my machine I lose my registration credentials and must start Act as Administrator and reregister.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this issue?

Re: Registration of Act 2013 Premium Not Sticking After Hot Fix 4

I had a similar problem with the web version and I fixed it by deleting the RegistrationData.xml and also deleting the 2 system files KGyGaAvL.sys and the 10-character alpha-numeric one. then I opened up ACT! via the Run as Administrator and register it again.

This is info on the location of the KGyGaAvL.sys file:-

Re: Registration of Act 2013 Premium Not Sticking After Hot Fix 4

So I'm running Act 2013 for Web on Win 8.1, and was unable to find the KGyGaAvL.sys and related file to delete, and it took doing a full search for the RegistrationData.xml file which was in an "ACT 12" folder (which I don't think I've ever had ACT 12).  Nonetheless, after deleting, I ran as Act as Admin reregistered - then restarted (which was what caused problems), and my issue is resolved.

Thanks!!
