I am an ACT! 2008 Premium User. Two days ago the motherboard on my laptop was replaced while I was in the office. When I first launched ACT! with the new motherboard, I was prompted to re-register. My first attempt was unsucessful because I was not designated an Administrator in Windows. After changing my profile in Windows to that of an Administrator, I tired to launch ACT! again and was not successful.
Yesterday, while working from home, and on my company's VPN, I tried launching ACT! and was finally able to re-register the product. I even received an email from SAGE confirming that my re-registration was successful. I was then able to launch ACT! and was ultimately successful in accessing my database on my laptop which I used the remainder of the day.
Today I tried launching ACT! and I am being prompted to RE-REGISTER again. HELP! PLEASE!
