Quick Link for second email

Hi all

Is it possible to have more than one email that the quick link button works for? Act standard fields has two email fields yet it appears only to link emails from one field can this be changed or altered??

Thanks

Jason

Re: Quick Link for second email

When you say "quick link", are you referring to when you click on the email address that it brings up a new message screen?  If so, this will work for any failed that was created as an "Email" type field from the Tool/Define Fields menu option. If you are referring to something else, please specify.

No i was talking about the button in Outlook that enables you to attach an email to the clients record provided the email address has been recorded, it however only uses the primary email address when it links and not both email address

if i send the email to work email address and cc to the home email, would it recognise the cc? perhaps it works if i put both in the same area and no cc??

Re: Quick Link for second email

Have you checked in Define Fields that the other field is an Email field?

Also, are you sure it's 11.1?

It was different in 11.0

Have you tried with different contacts or deleting the address in the other field and re-typing it (in case it was entered with some bad character)?

What status does it show in the ACT! Outlook Sevice?
