Properties for user defined fields.

I'm having troubleing setting properties in User Defined Fields. My text wraps to soon in the field and squashes the memo to the left hand side. I've been trying to find a solution in the knowledge base, without any luck. I don't even see the text wrap setting for that matter. Thanks.

A couple of thoughts. Are you using the large fonts setting for your video? If so, try changing it to normal fonts. Also, try turning off video acceleration and see if that helps. If so, try updating your video driver.

Until you try my suggestion, don't discount video. Everything you see on the screen is controlled through the video capability and many seemingly unrelated problems actually end up being caused by the video.

Hi Roy, I didn't mean to discount you. I'm feeling kind of dumb about this situation. Honestly, I don't know where to change the video fonts.

This is a new computer so I'm assuming the video drivers are updated.

All the windows and office updates are installed.

Windows Vista 64 bit - Service Pack 2

HP Pentium Dual-Core processors 2.50 GZ

650G Hard Drive

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver

Printing with a HP Office Jet Pro L7700

Re: Properties for user defined fields.

You should be able to get to the video by right clicking on the Windows wallpaper and choosing Properties. Go to the settings tab and click the advanced button.

In my experience, new computers often don't have the latest drivers. Most manufacturers do a ghost load of the harddrive which is only updated periodically.
