*ACT! Premium 2013 for Web installed on Windows Server 2012
*Customer is running two medium size databases.
*Database was moved from Server 2008 to Server 2012 about one month ago. (Worked great in Windows Server 2008)
*All users have iPhones and/or iPads
*Users desire 90% access via the Web. ACT for the Web or Mobile
*ACT! Premium Mobile fails 3 to 5 times per week. Users are either unable to log in or the browser interface locks up when users look up a contact (Universal Search). The frustrated user calls me, expressing extreme angst.
Problem Resolution Attempts
*Upon learning of the problem, I remote into the server, stop act.server.host and smart task service. Now I start each service.
*I attempt to login in with my iPad and iPhone. I am successul. I am able to log into the mobile device.
*All seems well for a while. After one or two days, Bang!, my uses are locked out again.
I am at my wits end. To make matters worst, I have few customers on Windows Server 2012, hence, I am not familiar with all of its qurks.
Are any of you out in user or counsultant land experiencing this? If so, I would be in your debt if any of you could point me in the correct direction.
