So, I was on with tech support all day yesterday. They upgraded ACT! to 12 version and installed the Hotfix 5. Now I am having problems with my Internet Explorer shutting down when trying to open links -- especially if they are to pdf's. Anyone else ever have this issue? I am not synched with a mail service and use my msn account directly through IE if this helps . . .

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. We have not seen this issue when applying the latest ACT! 2012 updates. Some questions:
What version of IE are you using?
Does the same thing happen with other browsers, like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome?
What exactly happens when you try to open the .PDF files - is there an error message?
Does it do the same thing whether ACT! is open or closed?
