Problem with sync database

Hello,

I've a problem with sync database over internet. When all users sync their remotes databases, they download 1 or 2 Gygabit on each sync but they don't modify all of files. This is really annoying.

Can you give me the operating of the sync system plz?

And how do I configure the system sync ?

Thank for your help

Best Regards

Re: Problem with sync database

Sounds like you have some kind of scanning software that is touching all your attachments.  Try telling your AV/firewall type software to ignore your ACT! database folder.  I bet that will stop the monster syncs.

Re: Problem with sync database

Have you checked the clocks for the remote computers and the host computer?  If the clocks are not the exact same time on all remotes and computer hosting parent computer the time date stamp for each file will change when syncing and all remotes will sync every file for ech sync.

Reccomend Atomic Clock sync for XP and 2003.  XPSP3 and Win 7 have built in sync.  Make sure everyone is set to same time server.
