Problem with mscorwks.dll on Windows Server 2003

Hi, we have installed "ACT! 2007 Premium german" on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with activated terminal services. About once or twice a week we have to reinstall .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 becauce ACT! and Outlook (obviously because of the embedded ACT! adressbook) won´t start anymore (no error code). After we investigated the eventlog we found the following error: Ereignistyp: Fehler Ereignisquelle: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting Ereigniskategorie: Keine Ereigniskennung: 1000 Datum: 31.03.2008 Zeit: 09:58:26 Benutzer: Nicht zutreffend Computer: TS001 Beschreibung: Faulting application actsage.exe, version 9.0.557.0, stamp 453f9008, faulting module mscorwks.dll, version 2.0.50727.42, stamp 4333e7ec, debug? 0, fault address 0x00046cb1. Instead of "actsage.exe" we also find "outlook.exe" or "actservice.exe" I have no idea whether it is a Sage or Microsoft issue. Here is another customer with nearly the same still unsolved problem: http://64.62.177.199/?50@999.57l1aKlUeCd.3@.ee835eb Thanks, Nico

Re: Problem with mscorwks.dll on Windows Server 2003

What build is the German version of ACT!? You should check Help | about and see if it's 9.0.1 with Hotfix3
Have you also tried a Detect & Repair in Outlook?

Do you know if any other applications you have installed use .Net 2?

Also, have a read of this ACT! Knowledge Base article - http://tinyurl.com/47w4ls

Especially change shortcuts to use ACT9.exe instead of ACTRUNNER.exe
Also log into the server directly as each user, log into ACT! as that user and set up and use one Work and Outlook... I find this makes the reg keys properly written.
