Im trying to import 200 contacts from excel using the tab delimited (both .txt or .csv) but only the first contact is importing.
Firstly i made a new contact layout, perhaps its the problem's source and secondly my excel database is not fully complete, there are many blanks in contacts informations.
Do anybody had the same problem?

Hello, i tried to turn it off but it doesnt work,
What do you mean exactly by 'use the command option'? (Im sorry, its the first time I use sage for my training period ^^)
I think that the problem comes from the layout or my excel sheet, do i have to do something to activate ;y layout?
Because if i import my excel database in just one field of the basic layout, everything is imported, if i retry in my new layout, just one contact is imported
One last thing, when i choose the fields to import, though the preview of my 200 contacts is good, the result is not.

Yes I followed exactly this "tutorial". Then I tried new things, but nothing was successfull. In fact I am following a training period and they just want to import this database. I think that the propblem comes from the database but Ive no knowledge in database exportation so i dont know lol.

Have you tried creating a new database with File | New and importing it there?
Failing that, it might be some bad characters in the Excel file

The same thing is happening to me. Did you find the answer? I called support the other day and they changed the settings to merge and to add. It worked one time. I've checked the settings they are fine. But it only imports 1 record.
