I am sorry if this question has been answered before but i cannot find the answer or able to solve a problem. I do Real Estate and recently partnered up with someone who also happens to have ACT! Premium. But I cannot figure out how we can share contacts (view same contacts along with all the notes). I have made a user name and set him up as manager under Tools > Manage Users but have no idea what to do after this .
We work in the same office but use two different computers and we both purchased ACT separately. I still have licenses available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) make sure both are on the same version of Windows (help, about check version number)
2) tools, manage Databases, Share database from host machine (assuming the two comptuers are networked.
3) find and copy the database .pad file to the second machine
4) Open ACT via .pad file on the second machine.

Here is what i did
Tools > Database Maintenance > Share Database
Now, on the network. I am sharing the folder where my .Pad is located. My partner can look at my documents but when he tries to open my database through his ACT! program, it does not work.
