Hello Joe,
We haven't has any reported issues with that version of Server 2008, so it should work.

Great.  Thank you.  I understand you haven't heard of issues but have you heard of it working?

Re: Premium 2011 server software

Do I undersatnd that you are setting up hosted ACT! for Web or something else?

I will gladly stand corrected, but the information I have is that  ACT for web will run on all Server 2008 Operating Systems except Foundation and SBS.

Will it work for internet sync only? I want to 4 people sync remotely over the internet. This is basically all I need to do. Will a window 7 system be able to do this?

Re: Premium 2011 server software

You can configure the ACT! Network Sync Service to work over the internet just fine.  That way you don't have to mess around with IIS, but you will have to setup the proper port forwarding, DMZ or NAT on your router/firewall to make it work.

Thanks. Were you talking about using Windows 7 with Premium 2011 as far as it working with internet sync?

Re: Premium 2011 server software

IIS can be installed on non-server operating systems such as windows 7.  You just need to make sure you have IIS turned on or the ACT! installer will fail.

There are also some limitations, for example, a maximum of 10 users are allowed to connect.  It is just a limitation of the OS.
