We have recently upgraded from ACT 2011 Premium to ACT 2018 Premium version 21. Since the upgrade we have had a constant issue where the default application for communications under the Preference settings keeps changing from the ACT word processor to MS Word and vice versa, even after being reset multiple times. We never had this issue with the previous version of ACT. Some people use the ACT WP and others use MS Word, and they all have the same problem. In addition, sometimes the letter.adt default MS Word template disappears entirely from the templates folder and has to be restored from backup. All very strange. We have 5 computers running either Windows 7 or 10 and they all have the same problem. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me! Thanks!

What version of Word are you using so we can check if supported?
The templates will appear to have disappeared in ACT if the word processor setting changes so have they also been deleted when looking in the folder via the windows browser?

We use Word 2010, 2016 and 2019. It's the same problem with all of the Word versions.
The letter.adt template is deleted/missing from the Templates folder in Explorer.
