In company tree, we have users that will move a company to be a division of another by accident (default answer is YES for ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO MOVE _____ TO THIS NEW LOCATION?...was told cannot change to NO), is there a way to change permissions or restrict users from moving/promoting companies?
If there is not, any chance to create a history of some sort so know when it's done or who is doing it?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Brienne,
Unfortunately there's no specific permission for the ability to move/promote companies - and there's no history options for this either.
However, if you're using Act! Premium, you can use Access Lists to prevent users from being able to make any changes to the company (including hierarchy), but this will prevent the user from being able to access the company at all.
Hope this helps,

Thank you very much JonTaylor for answering my question. Wish there was a way but it helps to know the answer so I don't have to keep searching!
