Phone prefix in ACT

When we create a new record and we put in the phone number we get a prefx (01) instead of (0032). There are 2 different prefixes in ACT for Belgium. Can we change anything to get only the (0032) prefix?

Re: Phone prefix in ACT

ACT! gets this from the Windows registry

Not sure how technical you are... but if you do a find for "Belgium" with regedit under this Windows registry key

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Telephony\Country List]

Make sure it's only in:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Telephony\Country List\32]

Delete any other keys with Belgium.

This LINK has some more info

BUT make sure you back up your registry first as per this ACT! Knowledge Base article - http://tinyurl.com/5lgptz

Re: Phone prefix in ACT

Jurgen,

The problem is that in Belgium are 4 languages on computers that often are used:

Dutch, French, German and English

so this makes

België, Belgique, Belgien and Belgium

Problem is that Act! in his native version just knows Belgium and that in Act! the 32 is given to that name.

All the unknown countries are 1.
