Using: Act premium 2008 and Peachtree Quantum 2007
I have been on the phone for at least 8 cumulative hours with escalation specialists over at Sage, and still we cannot get our PT/ACT setup to work. They literally gave up on us, saying they cannot find the problem. So far we have installed and uninstalled both programs numerous times; they 'took control' of my computer and server and tried changing various permissions of various folders; they even sent me a new ACT premium cd, assuming my original one was corrupt. We turned off all firewalls, anti-virus, etc. Even the demo companies cannot be set up; not on any of our 6 workstations; nor on the server.
The problem is this:
The link installs. But when i try to set the link up from the ACT program, I get at far as selecting my Peachtree company directory. The "company name" window remains blank, so i can't select the actual company.
I was hoping maybe someone here had a simple answer that was being overlooked.
