Outlook emails not recording into ACT history

Hi again,

I am using Act! Premium Version 17.2.217.0

Windows 10

Outlook 2013

Office 2013

Since yesterday, I can see that my emails are not recorded under History. Also, each time I generate a new history, it doesn't show...

Your help would be appreciate, as I use ACT constantly. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Gloria

Re: Outlook emails not recording into ACT history

Hi Juan Carlos,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I am using the database directly by the application installed on windows, but I do synchronizations daily through a VPN, to the main DB in my company (other country).

I have already closed the DB (several times) and still the history is not there... I have tried also for several times to create a new history but it doesn't appear...

On the other hand, I could see that the recorded history from yesterday only appear today, also the new history from yesterday...

I have checked everything... also if there are duplicated contacts...

So, it seems that there is a delay, which is not common...

Hope you can help me.

Thanks, Gloria

Re: Outlook emails not recording into ACT history

Dear Juan Carlos,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

The problem remains...

I have followed your instructions but I have noticed that the file Act.Outlook.Service.exe is a PDF file and maybe it has to be a XML file? On the other hand, when I follow step 7, I cannot find Act.Outlook.Service.exe, in order to double click on it. I only have Act.Outlook.Service. (not sure if this is important)

When I am at the History Queue, I have 3 folders: Errors, Holding, Logs. The 1st 2 are empty and the Logs one, only contains XML docs...

Therefore, I couldn't follow the last procedures...

Still need your kind help. Thank you.

Best Regards, Gloria
