Outlook availability limitation in ACT

[ Edited ]

Hello,

Our sales team does all of their calendar work from within Act. We sync Act to Outlook so their team members can see their availability. Outlook gives users the options of free, tentative, busy, and out of the office. Unfortunately, Act only supports free and busy. After each sync, Act automatically changes any calendar entry from Out of Office to busy.

Has anyone found a way to allow Act to recognize the difference between busy and out?

Thanks for any help.

Ryan

Re: Outlook availability limitation in ACT

Unfortunately ACT! does not have an Out option for availability, so it defaults to Busy. If you would like to see this functionality added to the program in an update or future realease, please post your request on the Share Your Ideas board on the Community by clicking the "Share Your Ideas" tab at the top of this page.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
