Outlook & Act Premium Calendar Sync Problem

I have a problem with Act Premium & Outlook 2007 - When I copy calendar from act to outlook my appointments do not show up in outlook?  

The other part of outlook & act works fine (Email attachment to act & Quick attach)

 

This did work but it stopped working 3 days ago and after spending far 2 much time on it i'm just about ready to give up on it so any help would be great!!

Try running maintenance on both the Act! database and your Office installation. 

- in Act! > go to Tools > Database Maintenance > Check and Repair

- in Outlook > go to Help > select Office Diagnostics

- test results

Hi Greg,

 

Thank you very much for your reply, I have done this but still no joy - It will work about 1out of 20 times but still not right - I can tell when it won't work because of the green status bar only goes part of the way across and then just closes down.

 

I have even reinstalled both act and outlook and still no joy :-(

That's very odd that it works some of the time, expectation would be all or none.  Are you using a date range or 'all dates' when doing the copy?

Other tests:

- Open the Act! Demo (or another database) and test copying with it.

- Create a new Outlook profile and test with it.

These steps help isolate where the issue lies (Act! db or Outlook profile).
