I can't seem to find anything on the online community addressing this: I have my ACT directory address book setup in Outlook 2003 along with the ACT toolbars that show when in Outlook. I notice that the Outlook Autofill feature doesn't work when ACT is setup within Outlook. I know, because I created a new Outlook user profile and did not setup the ACT address book and toolbar in the new profile. When ACT is not setup within Outlook, the auto fill function works.
Is there a simple setting to correct this?

Check the settings on your address book, I'm not 100% sure but that might do it...
Click the Tools menu in Outlook, then Address Book.
Then go to Tools menu on the Address Book that has popped up and click Options and add the ACT! address book to the books to check when sending mail.

Thanks Len. This has no effect. Any new names (non ACT contacts) I type and send an email to in outlook will stay and autofill until I close outlook. once I close outlook, the names disappear and do not autofill.
